Nestled within the fabric of an ancient capital, the OCAT Gallery serves as a cultural and tourism integration demonstration project crafted by the Overseas Chinese Town (OCT) Group. Rooted in the cultural attributes of the Fengdong area in XiXian, YuQiang Group was commissioned to design the Wangzhou Pilot Area and the OCAT Xi’an Gallery. Through a multidimensional structure, the interplay of changing light and shadows, and the philosophy of coexistence between the tangible and the intangible, the design seeks to interpret a quiet yet powerful civilized space within the art domain of new modernism, employing pure negative space and an awakened aesthetic.
