The Inmost Mansion Sales Center project, situated within the bustling CBD of Dongguan’s Songshan Lake area, benefits from a privileged location at the junction of three rail lines and enjoys superior landscape resources. YuQiang Group boldly attempts an integrated planning and design approach encompassing architecture, interiors, and landscape, allowing light to dance between water, glass, and the interior, translating abstract structures into simple, stunning geometric forms and extending architectural shapes into the interior to create new visual sensations. The space between inside and outside unfolds dynamically and enchantingly.

The architectural concept aims to craft a space where light plays a “box game,” with building blocks resembling a box partially opened. The roof’s interlaced openings are light and penetrating, bringing the interior space into contact with sunshine, creating a dynamically stretching charming posture within the city. Reflections of vertical space and natural light on the architecture achieve a rich play of light and shadows. The presence of light redefines the “inherent color” of objects, with the interdependent colors transforming into blurred pictorial impressions, retelling a story of the bond between “light and color.” Basic geometric shapes have long occupied the pinnacle of aesthetics. The interior, derived from architectural shapes, naturally embodies the strength and beauty of geometric structures. The presence of deconstructivist principles awakens a special aesthetic awareness. Designers translate abstract structures into simple, impactful geometric forms, deconstructing and misplacing them to achieve the most comfortable fit.

Transitioning from the entrance to the expansive sand table space, we continually break the “sense of boundary” in space. Inspired by circular and rectangular profiles, through rotation and staggered combinations, a “rigid-soft coexistence” effect is triggered. Art pieces serve as embellishments within the space. Appreciating them in specific settings is also a process of mutual recognition between designers and viewers. The sculpture by Tsai & Yoshikawa, a mixture of various abstract totems disassembled and combined with the transformation of light refraction, bloom into a flower that transcends reality, soaring and blossoming in space.
