Drawing inspiration from Zhangzhou’s distinct Minnan (Southern Fujian) architectural heritage, YuQiang Group crafts the design narrative around the culture of the Maritime Silk Road. The design ethos is articulated through elements reminiscent of traditional Fujian Tulou (earthen buildings), red-brick houses, swallowtail ridges, silk, sailboats, and the undulating lines of waves. These motifs collectively shape the spatial forms, offering visitors an experience akin to that of an urban art museum. The space is envisioned as a vessel, wherein artworks serve as the soul of the space, seamlessly blending historical richness with contemporary elegance.
